About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers
- Determine food presentation and create decorative food displays
- Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
- Monitor quantity of prepared food and kitchen supply stock
- Inform Food & Beverage staff of menu specials or out-of-stock items
- Prepare special meals or substitute items
- Maintain kitchen logs for food safety programs
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Address guests' service needs with professional language
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of related work experience
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
