Kizigua Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Provide effective telephonic remote interpreting
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

Requirements

• Full fluency in both English and Kizigua
• Technology proficient in web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
• Access to a quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noises

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience
• Industry specific certifications or trainings such as CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, or Cross-Cultural
