Law Enforcement and Prosecution Mentor

About the Company

GIST is seeking experienced law enforcement and prosecution specialists to support upcoming international projects, subject to programme award and mobilisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide training or mentoring to law enforcement actors or institutions internationally
• Support US Government-funded programmes in overseas or complex environments
• Work with diverse, multi-national teams and stakeholders
• Undertake multi-week or extended field deployments
• Deliver training and mentoring using case-based exercises
• Develop SOPs, operational procedures, or reporting frameworks

Requirements

• Technical specialisation in law enforcement or prosecutions
• Experience delivering US Government-funded programmes
• Experience training or mentoring law enforcement actors or institutions internationally
• Willingness to undertake extended field deployments
• Experience working with US Government and international security-sector stakeholders
• Technical expertise in areas such as digital forensics, OSINT, or terrorism-related prosecutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Terrorist financing case experience
• Current bar admission, preferably including US legal experience
• Experience in fragile and conflict-affected environments (e.g., Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa)
• Proficiency in Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Tajik, or Uzbek
• Understanding of grant compliance and equipment management
