Lead, Events ZSP (UAEN)

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and implementation of the Zayed Sustainability Prize's annual events calendar and flagship awards ceremonies.
• Manage external event agencies, production companies, and suppliers to ensure high-quality delivery within budget and timelines.
• Develop detailed project plans, operational timelines, and creative briefs in collaboration with Brand and Communications teams.
• Oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, branding, technical requirements, delegate management, and hospitality.
• Coordinate procurement and requisition processes for event delivery in compliance with internal procedures.
• Monitor event budgets and proactively identify risks to implement corrective actions.
• Lead post-event evaluations and reporting to measure success and recommend improvements for future activations.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external industry partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in planning and managing corporate events, conferences, or exhibitions.
• Proven experience managing external agencies, suppliers, and vendors.
• Strong project management, organizational, and budget management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering events within international, government, sustainability, or corporate environments.
• Proficiency in event management and collaboration tools.
• Arabic language skills.
