Lead Hybrid QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a development team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Provide technical leadership and ensure best practices in software development
• Drive the testing lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment
• Conduct regular code reviews and manage team performance and career development
• Track and record product issues and analyze problems through various tools
• Write test plans, test cases, and output test reports
• Create automated Web, Mobile, and API test cases
• Develop automated tests and test frameworks
• Improve Continuous Integration pipelines and automate software engineering processes

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software testing
• 4+ years in a relevant role
• 2+ years in a leadership role including mentoring and performance reviews
• Solid understanding of unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, stress, and API testing
• Experience with Web, Android, iOS, and API manual testing
• Proficiency with Python
• Experience with web debugging and API testing tools like Chrome DevTools and Postman
• Experience with automation for mobile (Android/iOS) and web (Selenium/Playwright)
• Working knowledge of relational databases, preferably MySQL
• Experience developing and running a Continuous Integration system

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Jira and Jenkins
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering
