Lead Instructor: Aerospace Technician

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, live, virtual instruction to large groups of diverse Fellows
• Conduct synchronous online lectures on technical aerospace content
• Prepare and lead virtual classroom sessions for groups ranging from 200 to 8,000+ learners
• Oversee class Q&A, chat flow, and learner engagement dynamics
• Collaborate with operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery
• Assist in lesson design, development, and curriculum improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or related technical environments
• Expertise in Structures, Assembly & Integration, or Composites
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and precision measurement tools
• Experience with safety and quality standards such as OSHA, 5S, or FOD
• Experience working from engineering drawings and written work instructions
• Experience teaching, training, or mentoring adult learners in technical subjects
• Strong communication and presentation skills for virtual environments
• Proficiency with digital tools like Zoom, Slack, and Microsoft Office
