About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the non-technology procurement vertical in CPD globally
- Execute strategic sourcing for HR services, facilities management, marketing and professional services
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of procurement professionals
- Assign new projects and RFPs within the non-technology procurement team
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for quality and cost effectiveness
- Resolve stakeholder queries and concerns
- Drive automation and process simplification, and optimize the procure-to-pay process
- Manage the procurement workflow and ensure purchase orders are issued accordingly
Requirements
- Business graduate, preferably with CIPS or SPSM procurement certification
- Minimum 8-10 years leading a procurement function, last 4 in a service or banking industry
- Familiarity with local, regional and international market dynamics
- Strong contract development and negotiation skills, including ERP, B2B systems, eTenders and eAuctions
- Strong interpersonal, relationship, people management and communication skills
