Lead Product Manager, Security

Responsibilities

• Shape the Wikimedia Foundation's product security strategy and strengthen organizational security culture
• Drive priorities for a team of engineers focused on security and privacy
• Design and develop technical features to protect users and the platform from bad actors
• Communicate strategically with community members regarding security and privacy work
• Establish working relationships with volunteers and act as a conduit between the community and the Foundation
• Partner with leaders in other departments to shape the overall information security posture
• Stay up to date on current developments in online security and privacy

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in product-building teams
• At least 2 years of experience in a security-focused role
• Significant experience using AI-based tools for security analysis and technical tasks
• Proficiency with command-line-based tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage diverse responsibilities in a dynamic environment
