Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across the Alpha and Delta teams
• Design, build, test, deploy, and troubleshoot production software across frontend, backend, integrations, databases, and cloud components
• Implement practical uses of AI to reduce development time and improve software quality
• Modernize legacy systems through refactoring, service decomposition, and API enablement
• Mentor engineers and facilitate technical discussions to elevate engineering standards
• Build reusable services, APIs, libraries, and automation
• Integrate AI capabilities securely into existing digital products
• Partner with Product, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and secure web applications
• Strong experience with modern frontend development using Angular and TypeScript
• Proficiency with Azure SQL Server, including schema design and query optimization
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, service-oriented architectures, and scalable microservices
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Function Apps, Service Bus, etc.)
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
• Strong application-security knowledge (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage lending, financial services, or fintech
• Experience modernizing large .NET applications
• Familiarity with Azure-based AI services and model gateways
• Experience building conversational or agent-assisted customer experiences
• Experience with containerized applications and orchestration platforms
