About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Business Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Management, and related areas
- Develop, update, and maintain course syllabi consistent with accreditation standards
- Supervise student projects and support experiential learning using analytics software
- Conduct, publish, and disseminate high-quality scholarly research
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects
- Participate in academic advising, student mentoring, and supervision of research projects
- Foster engagement with industry and community partners
- Contribute to college and university service, including committee work
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Ph.D. strongly preferred (required for Assistant Professor rank)
- Strong research and publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Minimum of two years of university-level teaching or industry experience
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SPSS, Python, or R
- Effective teaching and communication skills in English
