Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and review commercial agreements including license deals, distribution agreements, and artist contracts
• Provide legal guidance for local artist signings and contractual negotiations
• Advise on deal-making strategies for digital initiatives, concerts, live events, and sponsorships
• Develop and maintain standard form agreements and contractual provisions
• Oversee internal contract databases for managing artist rights
• Support internal corporate restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions
• Advise on corporate compliance frameworks and statutory filings
• Supervise litigation matters and manage external counsel

Requirements

• 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in commercial, corporate, IP, or M&A law
• Deep understanding of UAE commercial law
• Experience in independent contract negotiation and litigation management
• Experience in media, entertainment, digital, or technology industries preferred
• Hands-on experience with local legal systems and compliance processes
• Fluency in Arabic and English
