Mainframe Engineer - Professional

Responsibilities

• Design, document, program and support tools for the Mainframe development community
• Primarily support the Claims Application
• Establish CICS table entries for new programs, transactions and files
• Coordinate project designs and implementation plans for distributed application interfaces

Requirements

• Highly proficient in COBOL, DYL280, DB2, CICS and JCL in a z/OS environment
• Knowledge of z/OS, DB2 for z/OS, ISPF, TSO/E, VSAM, JCL, IBM Utilities and PDS/PDSE datasets
• Experience across project life cycle phases: analysis, design, programming and implementation
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
