About the role
Responsibilities
- Converse with language models on various language scenarios
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model outputs
- Capture reproducible error traces and document failure modes
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
- Challenge models on dialectal variation, formal vs colloquial language, and cultural context
Requirements
- Expertise in Malayalam grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, and pragmatics
- Ability to perform hands-on linguistic analysis
- Clear, metacognitive communication skills
- Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Malayalam language, linguistics, or a related field
- Peer-reviewed publications in linguistics
- Professional translation experience
