About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the month close process and all general accounting functions
- Monitor and enforce compliance with GAAP
- Lead and develop the Accounting team through coaching and mentorship
- Assist in managing the annual audit process
- Evaluate and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
- Support accounting and financial integration activities related to acquisitions
- Drive process improvement and automation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- At least 4 years of experience leading a team in a public or private equity-backed company
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with month close and consolidated financial reporting
- Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification
- Public accounting experience
