Manager, AML TM Quality Checks (Emiratised Role)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a robust quality framework for AML TM investigations
• Conduct thematic reviews based on money laundering detection scenarios
• Identify risks and develop remediation plans
• Review work performed by the AML Monitoring team
• Assist stakeholders in analyzing business risks
• Review CB UAE circulars to ensure investigation procedures align with regulatory requirements
• Gather market intelligence on emerging typologies
• Maintain adequate record-keeping and management information
• Provide operational expertise to internal working groups and committees

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Management, Banking, or Finance
• Minimum 8 years of banking experience, with at least 5 years in Compliance or Audit
• Strong understanding of regional laws and international regulations
• Deep knowledge of AML/CTF applied to banking functions
• Strong interpersonal and people management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Arabic
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
