About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision of analysts handling SAM case investigations and escalations
- Manage case investigations from transaction monitoring and manual referrals
- Own daily operational performance across case volumes, aging, quality and SLAs
- Ensure investigations are documented and dispositioned per policy and regulation
- Prepare SAR referrals and oversee quality review of investigations
- Compile KRIs and KPIs for management and Board reporting
- Support root cause analysis and risk-based remediation
- Maintain case-related procedures and support analyst training and mentorship
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Solid experience in BSA/AML operations and financial crimes investigations
- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising analysts
- Working knowledge of Actimize, FCRM and transaction monitoring systems
- Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CAMS
