Manager, Credit Control

Responsibilities

• Manage credit limits relating to credit facilities and guide team members in day-to-day transactions.
• Authorize, process, and encode credit limits to ensure accurate detailing in Bank systems.
• Maintain accuracy regarding interest rates, commissions, fees, and charges.
• Authorize and process maintenance of CCIB obligor details in line with local regulations.
• Prepare day-to-day transactions including loan memos, processing tickets, and settlements.
• Manage monthly activities such as annual reviews of credit limits in GLCMS.
• Process memos for account provisioning, customer grade changes, and write-off entries.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Service Level Agreements (SLA), and Delegation of Authority (DOA).
• Support Team Leaders in work distribution and task allocation.
• Prepare various reports for Senior Management and Head Office.
• Provide guidance, on-the-job training, and performance monitoring for staff.
• Identify and implement process enhancement opportunities to improve operative efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the banking sector.
• Proven experience in progressively increasing managerial responsibilities within a credit facility function.
