Manager, Credit Governance & Control

Responsibilities

• Serve as an in-house Governance & Control function for the Credit team across all Businesses & Geographies
• Ensure governance over underwriting processes and compliance with Credit policy and regulations
• Establish and manage Credit monitoring Forum to escalate expiries and past dues
• Support the implementation and management of the RCSA
• Identify areas for automation to increase efficiency and support cost rationalization
• Conduct event-based reviews to assess process and policy compliance
• Establish Early alert processes by liaising with stakeholders
• Provide input in the formulation of Credit policies & Product programs
• Interact with stakeholders including product, Credit, Risk, and Operations teams
• Prepare MIS and presentations for management review
• Manage Credit related projects and initiatives

Requirements

• UAE National
• 15-18 years of professional experience in Banking
• 5+ years of UAE working experience
• Thorough understanding of Credit life cycle, Banking operations, Policies, Regulations, Compliance, and Risk management
• Familiarity with the CB UAE regulatory regime
• Proven track record of managing teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
