Manager - Fixed Assets & Inventory Control

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day activities to ensure timely and accurate closing, consolidation, and reporting of the Fixed Assets register, Capital work in progress, and inventory register
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Port's policies, procedures, and IFRS/IAS standards
• Manage accurate accounting, reporting, and tracking of Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE)
• Manage accurate accounting, reporting, and tracking of Investment Property (IP)
• Manage accurate accounting, reporting, and tracking of Capital Work-in-Progress (CWIP)
• Manage accurate accounting, reporting, and tracking of Inventory
• Support all ERP sub modules on document controls
• Supervise general ledger functionalities to ensure accurate accounting and reporting from FAR and PPM modules
• Ensure accounting and posting align with company policies and procedures
• Ensure periodic book closing is completed according to management directions

Requirements

• Expertise in Fixed Assets and Inventory accounting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS standards
• Experience with ERP sub modules and document controls
• Proficiency in managing Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE) and Capital Work-in-Progress (CWIP)
