About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and undertake investigations into allegations of fraud of varying nature and complexity
- Conduct formal interviews with suspects and witnesses and take statements according to division guidelines
- Reduce fraud losses by ensuring timely action or stoppage on suspicious cases
- Liaise with the Central Bank of the UAE (CB UAE) through their online portal for fraud STR updates
- Gather, record, and securely retain evidence in accordance with F&I Division guidelines
- Produce timely reports and MIS to the Head of Fraud and relevant managers
- Assist in identifying control weaknesses and implementing solutions for future improvements
- Coordinate with law enforcement authorities and attend court hearings when necessary
Requirements
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification is required
- Minimum 4 years of related fraud investigation experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Auditing, Criminal Justice, or a related field
- Excellent interviewing and report writing skills
- Strong analytical, qualitative, and quantitative capabilities
- Ability to handle pressure and tough situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
