About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead accounting advisory and financial reporting engagements for Financial Services clients
- Advise on IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 17, financial instruments, impairment and regulatory reporting
- Prepare and review technical accounting memos, position papers and IFRS-compliant financial statements
- Manage client relationships and deliver high-quality project outcomes
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Support business development, proposals and client presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CA, ACCA, CPA, ACA or equivalent professional qualification
- 7-10 years in Accounting Advisory, Audit or Financial Reporting
- 5+ years serving Financial Services clients
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Financial Services accounting
- Excellent communication, stakeholder and project management skills
- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior UAE/GCC experience
