About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the annual audit plan aligned with risk profiles and strategic priorities
- Oversee operational, financial, compliance, and special audits ensuring quality and timeliness
- Collaborate with department heads, executive management, and external auditors to resolve audit findings
- Maintain and update audit policies and promote the adoption of audit technologies
- Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to the Audit Committee and senior leadership
- Coach and mentor the audit team to build capabilities and advocate for strong internal controls
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of experience in internal audit
- 3 to 5 years in supervisory or management roles
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, or related fields
- Mandatory Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification
- Strong leadership abilities and strategic problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- CISA, CFE, or CRMA certifications
- Expertise in data analytics, cybersecurity, or data privacy
