Manager/Director, Strategic Sourcing, Middle East & Africa

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for a diverse range of goods and services across all MEA countries
• Lead supplier performance management, focusing on continuous improvement, cost optimization, and innovation
• Act as a strategic partner to local business leaders to drive cost efficiencies
• Champion the transformation of the procurement function with a focus on cost leadership and operational effectiveness
• Provide ongoing support to Operations teams to increase compliance
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service level agreements
• Collaborate with the Corporate GPP Procurement team to implement global contracts
• Lead, inspire, and develop a multicultural team across multiple countries

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategic sourcing
• Proven track record in cross-cultural and matrix-based environments
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities
• Experience balancing corporate procurement standards with external stakeholder expectations
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
