Manager/Sr. Manager, Technical Operations

Spark Advisors is building the technology backbone for a modern Medicare distribution platform, supporting thousands of independent agents with compliant, AI-augmented tools. We are a fast-growing healthcare tech company focused on expanding access to quality healthcare through innovation.

Responsibilities

• Apply AI/agentic tooling to DevOps, infrastructure, and InfoSec tasks like automated remediation and log triage
• Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of AWS-native infrastructure (Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, Bedrock)
• Drive CI/CD maturity, infrastructure-as-code practices, and observability
• Manage security posture for a HIPAA- and CMS-regulated platform, including SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance programs
• Oversee corporate IT, including employee onboarding/offboarding, endpoint management, and SSO/identity
• Build and lead a high-leverage technical operations team
• Partner with engineering and product leadership on shared infrastructure needs

Requirements

• 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership
• 2+ years of experience managing people or leading cross-functional initiatives
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS (IAM, networking, serverless, and container services)
• Direct experience with security compliance frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001
• Strong infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD expertise
• Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, fintech, or insurance) is a plus
• Excellent judgment and communication skills under pressure
