About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare various cuts of meat including beef and lamb
- Label meat types, dates, and destinations accurately
- Prepare ingredients through portioning, chopping, and storing
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Engage with guests to provide meat and menu recommendations
- Assist front-of-house teams during peak service hours
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
- Monitor food quality and control waste through proper portioning
- Create decorative meat displays for service
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen workers
Requirements
- Four to six years of related culinary work experience
- At least two years of supervisory experience
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
