Job description

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain professional relationships with KOLs, clinical investigators, and key stakeholders across academic and clinical psychiatry
  • Serve as a scientific resource in the field, delivering accurate, balanced, and compliant scientific information
  • Support scientific education at national and regional psychiatry conferences, advisory boards, and educational events
  • Gather and communicate field insights to internal stakeholders to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information from healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and report on competitor landscape and emerging clinical data
  • Support clinical teams with trial site identification and enrollment initiatives
  • Support investigator-initiated trial (IIT) and Phase IV activities
  • Collaborate with Government Affairs and HEOR to provide scientific and clinical expertise
  • Ensure all interactions are conducted in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DNP, or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • 2–5 years of MSL or related medical affairs experience
  • Psychiatry or CNS experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of psychiatric disease states and treatment paradigms
  • Ability to interpret and present complex scientific data
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and insight tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%
