Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting and selling products to customers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and retail staff
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely product replenishment
• Ensure products are displayed attractively according to company standards
• Implement promotional activities and optimize shelf placement for visibility
• Manage stock rotation using FIFO principles to minimize expirations
• Collect payments from customers according to agreed terms and follow up on outstanding balances
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, merchandising, and payment collections
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide actionable insights

Requirements

• University degree in any discipline
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage customer relationships
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Basic understanding of payment collection processes and financial record-keeping
