Mid-Sr Designer, Global Navigation

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end user experience and visual design solutions for Global Navigation and Search surfaces
• Transition fluidly between navigation and search workstreams based on business needs
• Collaborate with surface design leads on complex UX challenges and interface architecture
• Maintain cross-surface visual and interaction consistency
• Partner with the design system team to contribute UI patterns and documentation back into the global design system
• Rapidly ramp up on existing research and technical constraints when shifting workstreams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent practical experience
• Comprehensive digital design portfolio demonstrating visual craft and UX problem-solving
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools like Figma
• 3-6+ years of digital product design experience (UI/UX) across enterprise or large-scale ecosystems
• Experience operating within a collaborative, contribution-based design system workflow
• High comfort level with ambiguity and rapid context-switching

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience designing enterprise search interfaces or global navigation structures at scale
• Familiarity with complex digital ecosystems in healthcare or life sciences
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
