Minibar In-Charge

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Minibar Attendants during daily operations
• Plan and assign daily replenishment schedules based on occupancy
• Ensure all minibars are stocked according to approved par levels and brand standards
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor expiry dates, product quality and storage conditions
• Ensure minibar consumption is posted accurately to guest accounts
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office and Finance regarding room status and billing
• Prepare beverage and snack requisitions and maintain adequate stock levels
• Train team members on SOPs, hygiene, safety and luxury service standards
• Monitor wastage, breakage and cost control initiatives
• Handle guest enquiries or complaints relating to minibar service professionally
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, health & safety and company policies

Requirements

• Minimum two years of previous Minibar experience in a luxury hotel
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent F&B knowledge including Wine, Spirits, liqueurs & Cigars
• Good knowledge of inventory control and POS systems
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts

• Wine and Spirits certificates are an asset
