Mobile Games QA

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and compatibility testing across Android and iOS devices
• Test gameplay mechanics, game economy, UI/UX, live events, monetization features, and backend integrations
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps using Jira
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases
• Collaborate with developers, designers, artists, and producers to ensure quality expectations
• Validate game balance, player progression, and overall player experience
• Perform device compatibility and performance testing
• Test localization and support release validation and hotfix verification
• Contribute to improving QA processes, test cases, and documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional QA experience in free-to-play mobile games
• Experience testing multiplayer or real-time online games
• Experience testing Android and iOS applications across multiple devices
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and bug life cycles
• Experience using Jira for bug tracking and project management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with live operations, game economy, and monetization systems
• Experience using Android Studio, Xcode, ADB, or device profiling tools
• Basic understanding of client-server architecture, APIs, and networking
• Experience with automated testing tools or scripting
• Familiarity with Unity-based games and workflows
