About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop referral contacts including realtors and builders
- Manage residential 1st mortgage loan origination from application to closing
- Complete Fannie Mae form 1003 applications
- Maintain knowledge of loan products and underwriting guidelines
- Manage loan pipeline and provide timely updates to applicants and branches
- Collect documentation and deliver loan packages within set timeframes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent mandatory
- Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines
- Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures
- Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending
- S.A.F.E. Act registration required via NMLS
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proven computer skills
