About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the property's sales department and manage reactive and proactive sales efforts
- Develop strategic account plans and marketing communication activities
- Manage the marketing budget and property-specific campaigns
- Provide leadership to sales associates to achieve booking goals and revenue objectives
- Build strong partnerships with local organizations and internal stakeholders
- Execute sales strategies to meet individual and property booking goals
- Monitor guest issues and ensure seamless turnover from sales to operations
Requirements
- 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major with 4 years experience
- OR 4-year bachelor's degree with 2 years experience
- Demonstrated skills in supervising a team
- Lodging sales experience preferred
- Hotel industry work experience preferred
