Multiple roles in AI x Global Health and Wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Investigate and recommend specific grants
• Conduct desk research to assess potential strategies
• Build back-of-the-envelope models to estimate social returns and cost-effectiveness
• Interview domain experts and work with potential grantees
• Synthesize conclusions and recommendations in writing for senior leadership
• Rigorously evaluate and synthesize academic evidence relevant to grantmaking

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant professional experience or equivalent in academia
• Strong quantitative ability and comfort with sparse data
• Strong written communication and reasoning transparency
• Interest in AI's implications for global health and wellbeing
• Pragmatism and ability to make reasonable estimates with limited data
• Strong listening ability and epistemic judgment
• Comfort with trade-offs and prioritization
• Flexibility to work across a range of topics
