Negotiations Escalations (Legal) Specialist

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with attorneys and paralegals to negotiate delinquent accounts
• Manage a portfolio of accounts including those with active lawsuits or imminent legal action
• Secure favorable terms such as reduced balances, extended payment timelines, or lump-sum discounts
• Review legal documents like summons, complaints, and settlement demands
• Handle 25-35 outbound/inbound calls daily
• Meet or exceed monthly settlement and compliance goals

Requirements

• Exceptional communication, listening, and writing skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
• Proficiency in technology; Salesforce or similar CRM experience is a plus
• Strong commitment to teamwork and client-focused service

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or Actuarial Science
• Relevant work experience in a similar field
• Proven success in a KPI-focused environment
