Network Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network automation tools and frameworks across partner datacenters
• Develop and maintain scripts, playbooks and pipelines for automated network provisioning
• Integrate the Brokkr platform with network management systems and vendor APIs
• Troubleshoot L2 and L3 incidents with a focus on automation-based remediation
• Monitor and improve network performance and uptime across diverse hardware
• Enforce network security policies through configuration automation and compliance checks
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers on deployment and scaling of bare metal resources
• Contribute to scalable, fault-tolerant network architecture

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Network automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Netmiko or NAPALM
• Configuration of network equipment from Cumulus, SONIC, Cisco, Juniper, Arista or MikroTik
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go or similar
• Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, NAT, DHCP and DNS
• Familiarity with REST APIs and SNMP
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for network changes
• Knowledge of Linux networking and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA, CCNP or DevNet certifications
• Infrastructure as code practices in networking
• Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana or NetBox
