Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture, deployment, and hardening of edge defenses and core routing infrastructure
• Drive execution on network security targets across physical, virtual, and cloud network footprints
• Automate network security workflows, configurations, and alerting pipelines using Python or Go
• Provide network security expertise during cross-functional infrastructure reviews
• Proactively identify and execute improvements across the network posture

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in security engineering, network security, or infrastructure security
• Experience with network security fundamentals including BGP, Firewalls, and ACLs
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ISP, telecom, or large-scale data center environments
• Familiarity with securing cloud networking in GCP or AWS
• Knowledge of identity protocols like SSO and SAML
• Experience with Linux system hardening
