About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct telemedicine care for obesity and comprehensive diabetes management
- Titrate insulin and manage CGMs and insulin pumps
- Co-manage a shared patient panel with Endocrinologists and Registered Dietitians
- Review charts and manage CKD, ESRD and CAD/CV conditions
- Prescribe non-controlled medications for obesity and diabetes
- Participate in weekly collaborative case meetings and quality improvement
Requirements
- At least 2 years advanced diabetes management experience
- Active, unrestricted medical license
- Experience with CGMs, insulin pumps and complex insulin regimens
- Telemedicine care experience with strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- OMA certification (CAEOM) or obesity medicine clinical experience
- Multi-state licenses
