About the role
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain operational risk management frameworks across Business Banking
- Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and evaluate control effectiveness
- Conduct control testing and identify gaps in processes, systems and compliance
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators and escalate emerging risks and trends
- Manage operational risk incidents through investigation, tracking and resolution
- Prepare risk dashboards, management reports and governance updates
- Lead root cause analysis of operational issues and customer complaints
- Review business processes and customer journeys for risk exposures and improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operational risk, controls, business analysis or operations
- Understanding of First Line of Defence risk management practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting RCSA, control testing or risk assessments
- Knowledge of operational risk frameworks and governance practices
- Experience with process mapping, improvement and root cause analysis
