About the role
Responsibilities
- Prioritize assigned work and project tasks
- Procure and order required materials and supplies
- Maintain electronic and written records of reports, specifically for Storm Water Maintenance
- Inspect completed work to ensure 100% accuracy
- Act as a back-up scheduler
- Communicate and support other departments including Office Staff, Supervisors, and Project Managers
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment in the assigned area
- Knowledge of work hazards and applicable safety precautions
- Basic skills in writing routine reports and documents
- Ability to understand and follow oral instructions and interpret reports
- Ability to perform medium physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
