About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform coding audits on a variety of facility outpatient record types
- Identify trends based on coding audit findings
- Formulate final reporting including recommendations and corrective action plans
- Communicate findings and recommendations via conference calls
Requirements
- AHIMA or AAPC certification
- 2-3 years minimum experience performing outpatient facility audits
- Previous outpatient coding experience
- Expert surgical CPT experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
