About the role
About the Company
Arootah is a talent solutions firm purpose-built for the alternative investment industry. We advise and we execute, covering the full talent spectrum from entry to exit across five services: Talent Acquisition, Fractional Leadership, Talent Development, Retention & Compensation, and Transition.
Responsibilities
- Support fund formation and documentation, including LPAs, PPMs, and Subscription Agreements
- Manage investor onboarding, KYC, and AML documentation processes
- Coordinate regulatory filings such as Form ADV, Form PF, Form D, and Form 13F
- Assist with corporate governance, entity management, and maintaining corporate records
- Support contract review for service provider agreements, NDAs, and employment contracts
- Conduct legal research and due diligence regarding securities laws and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with outside counsel on communications and billing review
- Manage regulatory examinations and audits for SEC, FINRA, or state regulators
- Maintain legal databases and document management systems
- Support employment and HR legal matters including separation agreements
- Provide administrative support for legal functions and special projects like M&A
Requirements
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within an Alternative Investment Firm or Family Office
- Experience working with sophisticated institutional clients
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and follow-through skills
- Extreme attention to detail
