About the Company

Campus is seeking experienced, mission-driven, student-centered Paralegal Studies Instructors to deliver high-impact, online courses as part of our ABA-approved Paralegal Studies Program. We are dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences for students from all backgrounds, particularly those historically underserved by higher education.

Responsibilities

  • Teach 11-week live, online courses using engaging, student-centered instructional strategies
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes active learning and student participation
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback and respond to student inquiries within 24 hours
  • Host weekly office hours to deepen student understanding and build community
  • Work with and mentor Teaching Assistants on grading and student engagement
  • Evaluate student progress, maintain grade records, and submit evaluations
  • Attend required faculty meetings and collaborate with peers on curriculum review
  • Stay current on developments in legal practice, legal technology, and pedagogical trends

Requirements

  • J.D., master's degree in legal studies, or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Demonstrated professional legal experience (litigation, corporate, family law, etc.)
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience at the college/university level
  • Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills
  • Digital fluency with LMS, video conferencing, and AI-powered educational tools
  • Ability to commit 8-10 hours per week per course
