Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise contracts and related legal documents for accuracy and compliance
• Support attorneys during contract negotiations by preparing summaries and tracking redlines
• Maintain an organized contract management system, including filing and indexing
• Conduct legal research on contract terms, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Coordinate across departments to gather information and approvals for contract execution
• Prepare reports and maintain records on contract status and compliance
• Support the legal team on ad hoc projects related to contract administration
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, business partners, and vendors

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on contracts or corporate law
• Strong knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and standard contract provisions
• Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or Business Administration
• Paralegal certification from an accredited organization (e.g., NALA, NFPA)
• Experience in a corporate legal department or a law firm specializing in contracts
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management
• Advanced skills with legal research tools and contract lifecycle management platforms
