Patient Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming inquiries from patients and schedule appointments
• Make outbound phone calls to patients, pharmacies, and insurance companies
• Create and triage tickets in ServiceNow
• Ensure providers are scheduled for best use of time
• Schedule appointments in eClinicalWorks
• Support clinicians via Microsoft Teams for follow-ups, late tele-visits, and referral information
• Monitor and complete ServiceNow tickets regarding insurance benefits and patient inquiries
• Troubleshoot minor technological issues or escalate to helpdesk

Requirements

• Experience providing phone, email, and chat-based customer service
• Experience answering phones and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Experience scheduling appointments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (M365)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Reception experience
• Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Experience working with Microsoft Teams
