About the role
Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day payment operations, including weekly payment cycles and funding
- Serve as point of contact for external payment partners on files, funding and errors
- Investigate payment issues end to end and drive root-cause fixes
- Support new client and partner launches and payment workflows
- Resolve payment questions from clients, members and internal teams
- Maintain reporting, trackers and dashboards for payments work
- Improve internal tools and processes using automation and AI tools
Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience in operations, analytics or a similar role
- Experience working with external partners or vendors to resolve issues
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Comfort with financial data and reconciliations in Excel or Google Sheets
- Clear, proactive communication with internal and external teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in payments, fintech, payroll, benefits or healthcare operations
- Familiarity with file-based integrations such as SFTP, encryption or file mapping
