Payments & Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• Own company fraud and chargeback risk end to end, including risk strategy and controls
• Keep chargeback ratios within card-scheme thresholds across all providers
• Own the payment provider portfolio and lead provider launches
• Design payment routing and cascading strategy to grow conversion and cut costs
• Build the risk function across Support, Moderation and Engineering
• Act as key risk and payments counterpart for providers, acquirers and card schemes

Requirements

• 5+ years in payments with ownership of fraud or risk outcomes
• Deep knowledge of card payments, 3DS, chargeback lifecycle and card-scheme monitoring
• Track record of negotiating with and launching payment providers
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on SQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with crypto payments
