About the role
Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within established deadlines
- Calculate overtime, statutory deductions, pension contributions, and final settlements
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and emirate-specific pension regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and payment issues professionally
- Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure data accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum of two years of proven payroll experience within the UAE
- Knowledge of UAE payroll practices and labour regulations
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (accruals, provisions, payment cycles)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Hands-on experience with payroll software and ERP systems
- Full professional proficiency in English
