Payroll Accountant

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established deadlines
• Calculate overtime, statutory deductions, pension contributions, and final settlements
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and emirate-specific pension regulations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and payment issues professionally
• Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure data accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
• Minimum of two years of proven payroll experience within the UAE
• Knowledge of UAE payroll practices and labour regulations
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (accruals, provisions, payment cycles)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Hands-on experience with payroll software and ERP systems
• Full professional proficiency in English
