Payroll Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll activities and program components across multiple geographies using SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors
• Define and implement robust controls, procedures, and reconciliation checks to ensure accuracy and audit readiness
• Oversee payroll runs, simulations, final settlements, banking processes, and reconciliations
• Develop and enhance payroll administration policies, procedures, and SOPs to drive automation and efficiency
• Manage statutory compliance across regions including WPS, GPSSA, PF, and NPS
• Lead payroll calendar planning and coordination with HRBP, Finance, and banking partners
• Oversee offboarding payroll activities including final settlements and recoveries
• Mentor and guide the payroll team to build technical capability and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in payroll management
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA payroll systems within the MENA region
• Proven experience managing multi-country payroll operations (UAE and GCC mandatory)
• Expertise in statutory compliance such as WPS, GPSSA, PF, and NPS
• Demonstrated track record in driving payroll transformation and automation initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management skills with HR, Finance, and external vendors

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in payroll, finance, or HR (e.g., CPP, CIPD, SHRM, ACCA, CPA)
• Experience with payroll operations in India
