Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for assigned entities on a bi-weekly basis
• Research and resolve payroll related questions and issues
• Verify and process employee expense reimbursements
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external payroll tax inquiries and audits
• Drive improvements, automation, and communication to improve employee experience
• Assist with the implementation or updating of payroll systems
• Upgrade processes and procedures to integrate with latest technology

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of progressive payroll processing experience
• Experience with multi-state payroll and new-state registration compliance
• Working knowledge of UKG (implementation experience is a plus)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
